Is it just me or are movies like 'The House Bunny' degrading to women?

I mean, honestly! I just find unsettling, to be perfectly honest, that we would be looked on in such a way that movies and shows like that portray us. I am utterly disgusted at the women that play such roles. Is it just me or are movies like 'The House Bunny' degrading to women?
how about the women who made roles like this possible..its the world we live inIs it just me or are movies like 'The House Bunny' degrading to women?
I am very sensitive to women's rights and I saw the movie and thought it was funny. I thought it was actually making fun of women who are superficial and not so bright. I thought it was a accurate reflection of how our society views women though if that is what you are referring to being degrading-our society does commonly view women as being more worthy if they are attractive and...I agree that that is unfair.
Well you are entitled to your own opinion, but i disagree with you. The movie wasn't meant to be taken seriously! I loved it!!! It's soooo funny! =D
Yes absolutetly i think the way they make women look is very wrong and im completetly against it
Well I love movies. The movies might not be the best but when you look at women in comedy, there aren't that many memorable roles, or popular actresses that can do that type of comedy. I mean sure, they are looked like sex objects, but why not play on that? Anna Farris might be the closest thing to a Seth Rogen, or Will Ferrel with breasts. She's been in the Scary Movie franchise, and tons of other comedies.
It is called acting. You get payed for it, and I though the movie was hilarious.
