How do you deal with a house bunny that pees on the carpet?

Hello, I have a bunny that is free to roam around. I took her back from my mom's house where she was kept in a cage, now she runs around and occasioally pees on the carpet. I actually dont mind it so much If i know I can get it shampooed out or something...(I need to anyway)

Any ideas about this? Can you still potty train a 3 year old rabbit? How do you deal with a house bunny that pees on the carpet?
Rabbits tend to pee in one spot, usually in corners. Is the rabbit litter trained? The easiest way to litter train is to keep the animal confined to a small area, or cage, for a few days. Note where she is peeing and place a litter box here. It does not have to be a special corner one, my rabbits actually prefer the rectangular cat pans. You're probably going to have to shuffle the box around from corner to corner until the rabbit will pee reliably in it. Once she is peeing in the box almost always, leave it where it is. The poo part will usually come afterwards.

Also, is she spayed? Rabbits love to mark their territory with poo pellets and pee. You'd be amazed at how quickly the behaviour settles down after a spay, my female went from peeing and pooing everywhere all over my room, to hopping into one of the litter boxes lying around all the time.

A rabbit that is not spayed/neutered will usually be much more difficult to train. There are even some that will absolutely not take to it before their operations. How do you deal with a house bunny that pees on the carpet?
Only try at training a rabbit worked like this: the rabbit always peed on in the same spot so I stuck a cat box with litter in this spot. Pretty soon the rabbit went in the litter box no matter where it was at. I hope this helps. Good luck.
It needs to be altered.

It needs to be moved from the room it has been peeing in.

It needs to be out of the cage ONLY when monitored completely.

If it pees it needs to be promptly put back in the cage and ignored.
idk
